My name is Terry Acra and I am the founder of TOC Inspections, which is located in The Woodlands, TX. I personally perform every home inspection myself and will always give you the utmost personal attention you deserve. Something that is not always possible with the large multible inspector firms.  

10 AM - The next morning REPORT TURNAROUND - Not 24-48 Hours. Reports are typically emailed to you by 10 AM the next morning, after the inspection. Printed versions of the report are available for your convenience upon request.

My inspection standards are always amongst the highest in the industry and meet or exceed every standard set by the Texas Real Estate Commission and NACHI (National Association of Certified Home Inspectors). I have the training and experience to accurately assess the condition of any home, and I possess the communication skills to clearly describe the inspection results to you. Through my commitment, experience, and expertise, I will establish and personalize a business relationship with you that will last for as long as you own your home.

"When most people go in a house, they look at how it's decorated and how it's laid out, but really don't look at potential problems,"  You'd be surprised how many people don't know a house has a bad roof or problems with a foundation. As your inspector I go onto the property wearing a different hat "so to speak."  I'm looking for the problems or potential problems, and to inform you of them. I will slowly and methodically walk you through your prospective home and fully educate you on all of its features in order for you to fully understand your property. I will assess those areas where upgrades or replacements may be necessary and screen for those costly defects and safety issues that could lead to problems in your future living conditions.

You won't receive a hand-written report from TOC Home Inspections. Each report is individually composed using state-of-the-art software.  Your report is written in clear, understandable language that doesn't require a degree in architecture to understand.

Photos of crucial items are included in the report, not as a separate attachment.

"Did you know?" One of the top complaints to TREC (Texas Real Estate Committee) is finding out that they have roof problems! After they have had their home inspected! I walk the roofs, unless the pitch is too steep, or it is raining. If I can not walk it, I will at least put a ladder up to the eaves and look for any problems. Observing a roof from the ground with binoculars, just doesn't cut it!  (My recommendation: Is that you ask if the home inspector that you are about to hire, carries and uses an extension ladder to inspect a 2 story home?)  

Also additional photos of each room, will be taken and delivered to you. These are provided for your personal enjoyment. Plus also for your future reference.
